Wow, what an amazing event! We exchanged big ideas, made new friends, had meaningful conversations, and we shared it all with you. We couldn’t ask for a better gift!
A very BIG thank you to our generous speakers, performers and partners who make this day possible! We’re grateful you chose to spend this day with us.
Pictures from the event have been loaded onto our Flickr stream and videos of our amazing speakers whose talks changed the way we think are coming soon. Monitor this page, Facebook and Twitter for new postings.
If you’re still feeling the energy of the event and want more, make sure to check out our FearLess reading list or connect with other FearLess attendees and viewers through our TEDxAustin brainstorms.
We hope to see you in 2014!
What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxAustin, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxAustin event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized. Learn more at:ttp://www.ted.com/tedx
What is TEDxAustin?
Austin is a bustling hub for innovation, a place where ideas incubate, mingle, develop and lead the world forward. It is this pulse and hum that forms the heart of TEDxAustin, which became an official TEDx licensee in 2009. Our first three events, Play Big, Right Now, and Beyond Measure inspired big thinkers to learn from one another, connect and make real change. As we bring this year’s event to the stage, we continue to be awed by the remarkable individuals in our community who contribute in ways that are truly FearLess. Please be a part of that community by connecting with us on Twitter and Facebook, where you’ll find an active, engaged and interesting community that truly values “Ideas Worth Spreading.” See you there!
